Gary Nanson

Gary Nanson is a Lieutenant with the Los Angeles Police Department overseeing the gang enforcement details and is a predominant gang expert for the LAPD. He has a solid educational background with a Bachelor's degree in Criminology and a Master's degree in Organizational Management.
Gary has an extremely varied law enforcement background inclusive of tactical units, narcotics, vice, homicide, surveillance and gangs. Gary is heavily involved in youth services primarily directed towards gang at-risk youth, and remains heavily involved with the local school districts and college campuses.
He is a member of various Boards of Directors and has a large amount of experience leading and developing non-profit organizations. Gary is also a Professor in the Administration of Justice Department for the University of Phoenix and sits on the Curriculum Advisory Board for the Los Angeles Mission College Administration of Justice Department.
